For the ambitious and hardworking Capricorn, this 6" horoscope tray mold features the Capricorn constellation and a sea goat, a creature with the front half of a goat and the tail of a fish. Alongside the sea goat lies pansies, the zodiac's birth flower which symbolizes the practical and willful personality of Capricorns.
In Greek mythology, Capricorn was the god Pan who ruled over the forests. In order to save himself from the monster Typhon, he gave himself a fish's tail and dove into a river. Later on, Zeus placed Pan in the sky as Capricorn in gratitude for his help in rescuing other gods on many occasions.
Design measurements:
Uses approximately 140 ml of resin.
For use with resin or food. Ensure the mold is thoroughly washed before using it with food. Do not reuse for food after it has been used with resin.
Do not use excessive heat as this may damage the mold, including a torch or heat gun.
It is recommended to use casting epoxy resin (not doming/table top resin) meant for deeper pours. Doming/table top resin has been known to damage silicone molds as they are not meant for thick layers. If you are unsure and need resin recommendations, feel free to contact us!
To clean, simply use tape to stick up any dust/lint, or wash gently with soapy water. Avoid the use of sharp objects or solvents as this will dull the shine.
