For the clever and adaptable Gemini, this moon tray features the Gemini constellation and a pair of twins, representing the half-brothers Castor and Polydeuces in Greek mythology. They shared a bond so deep that when Castor was killed, Polydeuces begged Zeus to share his immortality with his dead brother. Zeus, acknowledging their heroism and deep bond for one another, granted his wishes by reuniting the pair in the heavens where they are inseparable as the constellation Gemini.
On this moon tray, the twins are surrounded by lavenders, the zodiac's birth flower whose exuberant appearance symbolizes Gemini's social and energetic nature.
Design measurements:
Uses approximately 140 ml of resin.
For use with resin or food. Ensure the mold is thoroughly washed before using it with food. Do not reuse for food after it has been used with resin.
Do not use excessive heat as this may damage the mold, including a torch or heat gun.
It is recommended to use casting epoxy resin (not doming/table top resin) meant for deeper pours. Doming/table top resin has been known to damage silicone molds as they are not meant for thick layers. If you are unsure and need resin recommendations, feel free to contact us!
To clean, simply use tape to stick up any dust/lint, or wash gently with soapy water. Avoid the use of sharp objects or solvents as this will dull the shine.
